Settai First Look for Diwali!!!
Settai starring Arya, Hansika, Anjali, Santhanam and Premgi is already creating a lot of buzz in the industry. The First Look of Settai will be out on Diwali (November 13). Dhananjayan of UTV has said, "First look / first press campaign of Settai will commence on 13th Diwali day. Settai second trailer/teaser will be out by 3rd week of November."
Settai is the Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Delhi Belly' directed by Kannan. 75% of the shoot is complete. The team will begin the next schedule in Chennai on November 11 and will continue till November 17. Music score by Thaman. The audio launch is likely to happen in December and the film will hit the screens for Pongal next year.

Karthi's surprise gift to Venkat Prabhu
Venkat Prabhu celebrated his birthday on November 7. While Biriyani team surprised him with a huge cake on the sets, the lead actor Karthi had gifted him an Iphone 5. Venkat Prabhu began shooting of Biriyani from Nov 5 and the shooting is progressing smoothly. The First Look of the film is likely to be revealed on Diwali.
Paradesi Audio release date
G.V. Prakash has confirmed the audio release date of Bala's 'Paradesi'. The audio launch will happen on November 25 in Chennai. The film has five tracks. The composer is all excited about the audio launch. He has tweeted, "Waiting for Nov 25 for director Bala's 'Paradesi' audio and my beautiful avatha payya to unveil itself." The film which focuses on the lives of tea plantation workers stars Atharva, Vedhika, Dhansika in lead roles. Paradesi is set to hit the screens on December 21.
Neer Paravai gets tax exemption
The Neer Paravai film was not given tax exemption in spite of getting a clean 'U' certificate. The director had decided to go on a fast till the film was granted tax exemption. Producer Udayanidhi Stalin had filed a case in High Court regarding the tax waiver for the film. The Madras High Court has ordered Tamil Nadu state government to give tax exemption to Neerparavai. The team is happy over the victory and is looking forward to the release of the film on November 23. Vishnu, Samudrakani, Sunaina and Nandita Das play lead roles.
Jai finally gets his heroine!!!
Actor Jai has finally got a heroine for his upcoming film Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum (TTA) directed by debutant Prem Sai. The team was on a heroine hunt for a long time even while the film shoot was in progress. Finally the team has zeroed in on Yami Gautham of 'Vicky Donor' fame as the female lead. Yami is currently shooting of Radha Mohan's 'Gauravam' where she pairs opposite Allu Sirish.
TTA stars Jai, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh. 40% of the film has already been shoot. Yami will start shooting her portions from the 3rd week of November. TTA is produced by Gautham Menon's 'Photon Kathas'.
'Jiya Laage Na' song from Talaash
A new song 'Jiya Laage Na' from Talassh has been released. Talaash is the most awaited suspense thriller directed by Reema Kagti starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerjee and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. The film is set to hit the screens on November 30.
