Jayaram starrer Aakasha Mittayee begins shooting

Actor Jayaram's upcoming film Aakasha Mittayee kick-started earlier this weekend. The movie which is a remake of 2016's Tamil film Appa is helmed by Tamil director Samuthirakani, who is making his debut in Malayalam movies with this film. Aakasha Mittayee also has Tamil actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and ShaJohn in prominent roles and will be bankrolled by Maha Subair Movies. 

The Malayalam version has been written by Gireesh Kumar and has Alagappan N cranking the camera. The film has Ranjan Abraham at the edit table.
