The much expected Biriyani shooting went on floors from November 5. The portions involving Karthi and Premgi are being shot currently. Karthi has undergone a complete makeover for the film. Premgi Amaren plays a pivotal role. Hansika and Mandy Takhar play the lead roles.

The first day of shoot took place inside a house near the Kodambakkam railway station in Chennai. Director Venkat Prabhu who celebrated his birthday yesterday is happy with the way the film shoot is progressing. Yuvan is scoring the music. Film is produced by Studio Green.

Vishwaroopam first Hollywood next

Kamal Hassan released the new Auro 3D trailer of Vishwaroopam yesterday which also marks the birthday of the actor. While talking to the media about his magnum opus film the actor had said that his current focus is only on Vishwaroopam and can't even think of beginning his next Hollywood project at this moment. He has come up with a storyline for his Hollywood flick to be produced by Barrie Osborne but still it needs to be fine tuned.

The legendary actor is planning to release the much awaited film in more than 3000 screens worldwide including all three versions Tamil, Hindi and Telugu. The actor however has not revealed the film's release date. The date of audio launch which got postponed is expected to be announced soon.

'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom' gets ready for release

'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom' touted to be a laugh riot is gearing up for a release next month. The film is likely to hit the screens on December 7. Directed by debutant Balaji Tharaneetharan, the film stars Vijay Sethupathy and Gayathri in lead roles. The film is based on a real-life incident and is about a young man who forgets a few days of his life even as he is about to get married.

The film was earlier slated for a release on September 21 but backed out due to lack of good screens. The other reason is that the film received positive feedback from preview shows and the makers opted to release the film on a later date so that the film gets enough attention from the audience.

'Heer' song from SRK's 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'

SRK, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma starred 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' is all set to hit the screens for Diwali. The film is directed by late Yash Chopra. Music by A.R. Rahman.
