Biriyani shooting has started and is progressing well. Karthi will sport a completely new look for this movie. Leading fashion designer Vasuki Bhaskar who has worked on Karthi's look is happy with the outcome. A photo shoot has been done with Karthi's new makeover.

Vasukhi Bhaskar has said, "Yes!! I'm very happy with karthik's new look. The first look hopefully will be out for Diwali." Venkat Prabhu had tweeted, "Biriyani shoot started yesterday!!! Going smooth guys!!! All gals be ready for Karthi's new look!! It's gonna be a treat!!" Yuvan is scoring the music.

Vikram Prabhu wraps a schedule

Vikram Prabhu has started shooting for his second film 'Ivan Veramathiri' directed by Saravanan of Engeyum Eppothum fame. The first schedule of the film which began in Chennai has been wrapped. The film is a city based romantic thriller and Vikram plays the role of a city bred youth. The next schedule of the film is likely to begin after Diwali. The film is produced by Lingusamy. Vikram is also awaiting the release of his debut film 'Kumki'. 

Aishwariya to remake Bollywood film?

Aishwariya Rajnikanth is yet to begin her next project after her directorial venture '3' which opened to mixed reviews and fizzled at the Box Office. The latest we hear is that she is all set to begin work and is keen in remaking Bollywood film 'Oh My God'. Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal played the lead roles in Oh My God. Akshay Kumar played the modern day Lord Krishna in the film. Aishwariya had recently met Akshay Kumar in Mumbai and talks are on with the actor to remake the film in Tamil. However nothing has been finalised so far.

When is Neer Paravai releasing?

There was a sudden buzz in K-Town regarding Neer Paravai joining the Diwali race following director Seenu Ramasamy’s tweet in his microblog. The director had tweeted, “Neerparavai releasing on Deepavali. Red Giant movies working very hard to promote the film to people.” While the release date of Thuppakki and Podaa Podi which are in the Diwali race have been confirmed (?) at the last minute, this new inclusion had only added to the confusion.

Producer Udaynidhi has however clarified on the film’s release date. He has said, “NEERPARAVAI will release on NOV13th Diwali ONLY if PODAPODI gets postponed! If not on 13th NEERPARAVAI will defintely rlease on NOV 23rd!”

Thangar Bachan’s ‘Ammavin Kaipesi’ is also releasing this Diwali.

Kajal Agarwal turns boxer

The hot and happening actor Kajal Agarwal is eagerly awaiting the release of Thuppakki. Kajal who is Vijay's love interest in the film plays the role of a boxer in the film. The svelte beauty is said to have been inspired by Olympics medal winner Mary Kom for her role. It is reported that Kajal underwent a training in boxing for the role. Thuppakki is all ready to fire this Diwali on November 13.

Vetriselvan Trailer

'Vetriselvan' is an upcoming Indian Tamil film directed by Rudhran featuring Ajmal Ameer and Radhika Apte in the lead roles. Singer Manu plays a pivotal role. The audio of the film was launched recently. Music by Mani Sharma. The story revolves around the happenings inside the walls of a mental institution.
