Selvaragavan's new avatar

Director Selvaragavan is all geared up to don the hat of a producer. The director-producer has planned to produce seven films over the next year under his Aum Production banner. The latest development is that his first production venture has kickstarted. The director has roped in Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music composer for this project. He has said, "First production started. Will announce the details and reveal the First look after Diwali." The post production of Irandam Ulagam is also in progress.

Podaa Podi sent for Censor

Simbu, Varu Sarathkumar starrer 'Podaa Podi' is all set to hit the screens for Diwali. The film has been sent to the Censor Board for film certification. The film is directed by debutant Vignesh Shivan.

Jiiva and Nani shoot despite bad health

The final leg of shooting of Gautham Menon's Neethane En Ponvasantham and Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu is currently in progress. The team has been shooting day and night to wrap the film. Saindhu Saindhu song sung by Yuvan is current being canned with the lead pair Jiiva, Samantha and Nani (Telugu).

Both the lead actors Jiiva and Nani were not doing well but still were shooting for the song sequence despite bad health. Samantha had tweeted, "Shooting with 2 very sick boys Jiiva and Nani for the most romantic song in the album. Coughs, sneezes and runny noses. Oh so romantic!" Ilayaraja has scored music for the film.
