Get ready for a glimpse of 'Kadal' song!
Good news for A.R. Rahman's fans! Get ready to hear a single track from the most awaited film ‘Kadal’ directed by Mani Ratnam. The music legend will be performing the track ‘Nenjukulley’ penned by Vairamuthu on MTV Unplugged this Saturday (November 3) at 8pm.
Kadal is a love story set in the backdrop of the sea. Gautham and Thulasi play the lead roles. The combo of Mani Ratnam and music director A.R. Rahman has already created huge musical expectations. Let’s wait for the musical magic to unfold!
Mani Ratnam shoots despite cyclone
Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' shooting is still in progress. The maverick director had shot some sequences in the sea yesterday despite the Nilam cyclone warning. Aravindswami who was part of the shoot has tweeted, "Awesome experience of shooting in cyclonic weather in the sea for a sequence in Kadal."

Gautham's new choice for Yohan
'Yohan', one of the most expected project to be directed by Gautham Menon starring Vijay has unfortunately been dropped. Gautham had said that he couldn't continue the project with Vijay as the actor wanted some changes in the script to suit the Tamil audience as the movie had an International flavour. The director however seems to be going ahead with this project roping in Tollywood Prince Mahesh Babu as the lead. Yohan will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously.
Vishal and Trisha off to Malaysia
Vishal and Trisha are shooting in Malaysia currently for a song sequence for Samar. With the talkie portion of the film having been wrapped, the team is shooting for the last song in the film. Samar is an action thriller directed by Thiru. Music by Yuvan.
Akshay Kumar's 'Khiladi' songs
Khiladi 786 is an upcoming action masala film directed by Ashish R Mohan starring Akshay Kumar and Asin in lead roles. The film marks the return of Akshay Kumar to his famous Khiladi film series after 12 years since he acted in Khiladi 420. Music by Himesh Reshammiya.
