Kumki is one of the most awaited films this year. The film release may be pushed further and may not hit the screens for Diwali as announced earlier. The post production is currently in progress. According to sources, the film's graphics work is taking more time than expected and hence the delay. Kumki is a forest thriller directed by Prabhu Solomon starring Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles. Music by Imman. Film is produced by Lingusamy and released by Studio Green.

A.R. Murugadoss's 'Thuppakki' starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal is gearing up for Diwali release. The film is set to hit the screens on November 9. The film is facing the Censor today. Vijays fans are eagerly awaiting for the release of the film. 

Podaa Podi gets ready for Censor

Simbu, Varu Sarathkumar starrer 'Podaa Podi' is also gearing up for a Diwali release. The post production work of the film is in progress and nearing completion. The film will be sent for Censor in a couple of days. STR has tweeted, "Podaa Podi will 100 percent release for Diwali. Post production on full swing. The whole team is working day and night. Film will be censored in couple of days." The film is directed by debutant Vignesh Shivan and music by Dharan.

Jiiva's stylish makeover for Yaan

Jiiva who is shooting for NEP and Endrendrum Punnagai will be teaming up with cinematographer Ravi K Chandran next for his directorial venture Yaan. The pre-production is currently in progress and actor had a costume trial for the film in Mumbai. Jiiva will be reportedly playing a suave and stylish guy who hails from South Mumbai in the film. After the costume trial, the actor had tweeted, "Super excited about the young colourful look in Yaan". Thulasi who has made her debut in Mani Ratnam's Kadal will play the female lead. The film is likely to begin by the end of November.

EGO Trailer

Eswar Gomathi (EGO) is an upcoming comedy entertainer directed by 'Kandha Kottai' director S.Sakthivel. Debutant Velu and Anaswara play the lead roles. Bala of Vijay TV 'Kanaa Kaanum Kaalangal' fame provides the comic relief and plays an pivotal role. Checkout the trailer of the film!
