Revealed - Title font look of Saamy 2

The beginning of this year saw producer Shibu Thameens putting the speculations surrounding Saamy 2 to rest when he stated this :

"The film has not been dropped. The script work has been going on for months. We are planning to start shooting from next April,"

As if to confirm the above statement, an image of the movie's title has been doing the rounds and generating a lot of buzz online. Sources confirm that the selection of casts and shooting locales is happening in full swing and that the shoot might begin in the later half of 2017. With Story, screenplay, dialogues and direction by Hari, Saamy 2 is the sequel to the 2003 blockbuster Saamy and is the second franchise (after Singham) of the director's. Lead actor Vikram will be seen reprising the role of police officer Aarusaamy in this sequel. Music director Harris Jayaraj and cinematographer Priyan, both of whom were a part of the prequel, are expected to feature in the second edition as well.
