Vijay to do a film with R.B. Chowdary?

Vijay's most expected film 'Thuppakki' is gearing up for a Diwali blast. The actor will next team up with director A.L. Vijay for his next project which is yet-to-be-titled. We hear that many producers are lining up to sign the actor for their films. The latest producer to join the list is R.B. Choudary who is said to have approached the actor for a new project. However nothing has been confirmed so far.

Jiiva's Yaan to start rolling

Jiiva is currently busy with Gautham Menon's 'Neethane En Ponvasantham'. The 'Mugamoodi' actor is playing the lead in director Ravi K. Chandran's directorial venture 'Yaan'. Thulasi who made her debut in Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' is playing the female lead. The pre-production work is currently in progress. The film will start rolling from the first week of December in Mumbai. Music by Harris Jayaraj. The film is a trilingual to be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. 

Sam Anderson in Venkat Prabhu's 'Briyani'

Venkat Prabhu is likely to begin his next film Biriyani by the end of this month. While Karthi plays the lead, the female lead is yet to be finalised. Popular heroines have been approached for the role. While it is a known fact that Premgi Amaren will be playing an important role, the latest to join the team is Sam Anderson. Venkat Prabhu confirmed signing the actor in his microblog. Yuvan is scoring the music. Film is produced by Studio Green.

Trisha's father passed away

Trisha's father Krishnan aged 66 is is no more. He died of cardiac arrest yesterday (Thursday) evening  in Hyderabad. Trisha’s father was working as General Manager in a five star hotel in Hyderabad. When he reported pain in the chest, the hotel staff immediately brought him to nearby Yashoda Hospital. The doctors at hospital declared that he was brought dead. Trisha and his mother Uma rushed to Hyderabad hearing the news. Moviecrow offers deep condolences to Trisha and her family.

'Muskaanein Jhooti Hai' song from Aaamir's Talaash

The first promo song from the most awaited movie 'Talaash' starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerjee and Kareena Kapoor is out. Talaash is a suspense thriller directed by Reema Kagti. The special promo video of the song has been shot featuring Aamir, Rani and Kareena together in one frame as in the entire film, all three are never seen together. The film is set to hit the screens on November 30.
