The release date of Kaatru Veliyidai is here 

Only yesterday, a song teaser from director Manirathnam's upcoming bilingual Kaatru Veliyidai was released by the audio label Sony Music. Now we hear that this AR Rahman musical, is all set for a grand theatrical release on April 7, 2017. The film will also be releasing in Telugu as Cheliyaa and will have its its first single track unveiled on February 2, 2017. With Karthi, Aditi Rao Hydari and Shraddha Srinath in the lead, Kaatru Veliyidai has been produced by Madras Talkies and will be released by Sri Thenandal Films (Tamil) and Sri Venkateshwara Creations (Telugu).
