Udayanidhi's next with 'Sundarapandian' director

Udayanidhi Stalin has announced his next project after his debut film 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi'. The actor will be teaming up with director Prabhakaran of 'Sundarapandian' fame. The film will go on floors from January. Udayanidhi had tweeted, "My next film in a lead role will be with director Prabhakaran. Shooting starts from January. Title, co-stars and technicians will be announced in December."

Udayanidhi is currently producing Seenu Ramasamy's 'Neer Paravai' starring Vishnu, Sunaina, Samudrakani and Nandita Das. The audio of the film was released recently. The release date is yet to be announced.

Andrea as a model in EP?

Andrea is all happy and excited to join the team of Endrendrum Punngai (EP). The film also starring Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay and Santhanam has wrapped up a schedule. Andrea will be starting her shoot for the film from next month. The Vishwaroopam actor is likely to play a model in EP. The film is romantic comedy directed by Ahmed. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music.

Kumki gears up for Diwali

Prabhu Solomon's forest thriller 'Kumki' starring Vikram Prabhu and Lakshmi Menon is gearing up for a Diwali release. Kumki is one of the most expected films from the director after the success of Mynaa. Songs composed by Imman are already topping the charts. The post production work of the film is happening in full swing. Kumki produced by Lingusamy will be released by Studio Green.

Vishal turns singer in MGR

Vishal is playing the lead in Sundar C's upcoming film 'Madha Gaja Raja (MGR)'. Anjali and Varu Sarathkumar play the female leads. Vishal is said to have sung a solo love number in the film. Music has been scored by Vijay Anthony. The shooting of MGR is progressing in a brisk pace. Vishal has wrapped up the shoot of Samar directed by Thiru.

Maranthen Mannithen (Telugu: Gundello Godari) is an upcoming Tamil and Telugu bilingual film starring Aadi, Taapsee, Lakshmi Manchu in lead roles. The film is set in the backdrop of 1986 Godavari river floods. Directed by Kumar Nagendra, music has been scored by Ilayaraja. The audio of 'Maranthen Mannithen' will be launched on October 22.
