Vikram's 'David' release date announced

Vikram's 'David' release date announced

Vikram plays the lead in 'David', a bilingual film made in Tamil and Hindi. David is a gangster flick with dark humour directed by Bejoy Nambiar of 'Shaitaan' fame. The film has an ensemble cast including Tabu, Nasser, Lara Dutta, Shweta Pandit, Vinay Virmani and Isha Sharvani. Jiiva plays a pivotal role in the Tamil version played by Vinay Virmani in the Hindi version. Bejoy Nambiar has announced the release date of the film as January 11 in his microblog. Getaway Films and Reliance Entertainment are producing the movie. The film may also to be dubbed and released in Telugu.

Vishal's 'Samar' reaches climax

Vishal, Trisha, Sunaina starrer action entertainer 'Samar' has reached the climax. The climax scene is currently being canned with the lead actors Vishal and Trisha. Trisha has tweeted, "Climax-Day 1 Phew !!! Scorching heat, lights which can set someone on fire, propellers, sand everywere. But the action makes this worth it". The film will be wrapped with the climax shoot. The audio is expected to be released soon. Music has been scored by Yuvan. Film is directed by Thiru. 

Shiva's 'Sonna Puriyadhu'

Shiva who made a name for himself in movies like 'Tamizh Padam' and 'Kalakalappu' has now turned a romantic hero. Actor Shiva is playing the lead in a film 'Sonna Puriyadhu' where he pairs opposite Vasundhra Kashyap of 'Thenmerku Paruvakatru' fame. The film is a romantic comedy directed by debutant director K. Jayaraj. The film has reached the final stage of shooting. The camera will be helmed by Saravanan, a former associate of Nirav Shah and music is by Yathish Mahadev. Editing is being done by TS Suresh. The movie is produced by 360 Degree Film Corp. 

Saans song from SRK's 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'

'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' starring ShahRukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma is directed by Yash Chopra. A. R. Rahman has scored the music and the film is set to hit the screens for Diwali. A new song 'Saans' was released recently.
