Kamal's magnum opus 'Vishwaroopam' is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The audience are eagerly awaiting for the film's release. The latest buzz is that the film has been censored. Some sections of the media has been reporting that the film has completed its censor formalities. The Tamil version (Vishwaroopam) has been given U/A certificate with minor cuts and the Hindi version (Vishwaroop) has been given an A certificate.

An update from Kamal Hassan's official page on a social networking site seems to contradict the news. Here goes the update. "Looks like everyone is jumping to conclusions again! The Censor certification is not yet over and KH is still waiting on a few details. When it is finished be assured that you'll hear it from us! Untill then, we counsel patience!"

Studio Green acquires 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga'

Studio Green is said to have bagged the theatrical rights of Pandiraj's 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga'. The film is a comedy entertainer starring Vimal, Siva Karthikeyan, Bindhu Madhavi, Regina Cassandra. The film shooting is currently in progress. Gnanavel Raja has acquired the rights from Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures. The production house will release the movie worldwide. Studio Green after Attakathi have acquired the theatrical rights of Prabhu Solomon's 'Kumki' and Surya's 'Maattraan' (covering a part of TN). Yuvan scores the music.

Vasantha Balan joins hands with Siddharth

Director Vasantha Balan is all set to begin his next project after his period flick Aravaan. Siddharth of 180 and KSY fame will be playing the lead. The film titled ‘Kaaviya Thalaivan’ is a bilingual to be made in Tamil and Telugu. Sashikanth of YNot Studios who earlier co-produced Siddharth’s ‘KSY’ will be producing the film. The rest of the cast and technical crew is yet to be finalized.

Arya turns a hunter

That Arya and Anushka Shetty play dual roles in Selvaraghavan’s Irandam Ulagam is old news. While Arya is reportedly playing a stylish guy in the contemporary segment, the actor also essays a tribal man who is an extremely skilled hunter. The film is almost wrapped except for some patchwork. The CG work of the film is currently in progress. Film is directed by Selvaragavan and music by Harris Jayaraj.

I am a Kuthu Dancer from 'Podaa Podi'

The audio of STR's 'Podaa Podi' has been launched today without any grand event and is available in stores directly. The lyric video of the track 'I am a Kuthu dancer' sung by Shankar Mahadevan and STR has been released by Sony Music. Checkout the song!
