Selvaragavan teams up with Yuvan

Selvaragavan teams up with Yuvan

Director Selvaragavan has announced his next project after Irandam Ulagam. He will be directing a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu with Rana Daggubati playing the lead. The most interesting news is that Selvaragavan will be teaming up with Yuvan Shankar Raja for this new project. Selva and Yuvan who rocked together in Kadal Konden, 7G Rainbow Colony and Pudupettai had parted ways due to creative difference of opinions.

Director Selvaragavan is excited to team up with Yuvan again as he had tweeted, "My next is with Raana, a bilingual, and yes! Music will be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Friends are back! Have fun!". Selvaragavan's upcoming film 'Irandam Ulagam' starring Arya and Anushka is almost done except for some patchwork. 

Selvaragavan and STR together?

Buzz is Selvaragavan is likely to team up with STR for a new project. The discussions are in initial stages and nothing has been firmed up yet. If everything falls in place, the project is likely to begin in the middle of next year (2013).

Fans are eagerly waiting for the teaser trailer of the film which is to be released on October 10. The audio of Thuppakki is also most awaited and is to be launched soon.  Madhan Karky who has penned two songs for the film has updated about the songs. He has written the lyrics for the tracks 'GoogleGoogle' and 'Antarctica'. 'GoogleGoogle' a party track sung by Vijay and Andrea which introduces the male and female lead characters of Thuppaakki uniquely. Antarctica is a breezy romantic song which is about love from an army person's point of view. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, music has been scored by Harris Jayaraj.

SRK promotes S.S. Rajamouli's 'Makhi'

S.S. Rajamouli's blockbuster film 'Eega/ Naan Ee' is ready to hit Bollywood on October 12. The promotions for the film is happening in full swing. The film was screened to critics and trade analysts and the response seems to be phenomenal. Makkhi seems to be having a positive buzz in Bollywood before its release. With Ajay Devagan and Kajol lending their voice for the film, now Shahrukh Khan has joined the long list of admirers. The King Khan had tweeted, "Makkhi (Eega) the fly. Awesomely original & fun film by Rajamouli releasing on 12th Oct. Must watch with kids. All the best Raja & Team." Eega is all set to create wonders at the Box Office again!

Vijay's next film is Spain bound

Director A.L. Vijay has started working on his next project where he will be teaming up with Vijay. The film is likely to go on floors from November. Director Vijay will be shooting major portion of the film in Spain. While Samantha's name is being hinted for the female lead, nothing has been confirmed yet. Sathyaraj and Nasser have been roped in to play pivotal roles. Music by G.V. Prakash.

The title issue of Vishal’s upcoming film ‘Samar’ has been resolved. The makers are happy that the obstacles have been cleared and are gearing up for the film’s release. Samar starring Vishal, Trisha and Sunaina is an action thriller directed by Thiru. Yuvan has scored the music and the audio is likely to be launched this month. Directo Thiru has tweeted, “Title problem has been solved! Samar now belongs to us! Audio launch date to be announced in couple of days. Get ready for a magical trip of Yuvan!”. 

Buzz is the makers are targeting a Diwali release for Samar. With Thuppakki, Kumki and Poda Podi already lined up for Diwali, it is highly unlikely that the film will hit the screens for Diwali.
