Karthi's 'Alex Pandian' on December 14?

Karthi, Anushka starrer 'Alex Pandian' is expected to release in December. The teaser of the film which was released recently showed off some high action sequences. The film which was earlier buzzed to be a Diwali release is now likely to hit the screens on December 14. Interestingly Superstar's much awaited 3D animation film 'Kochadaiyaan' is slated for a release on December 12 and might clash with Alex Pandian. Alex Pandian is directed by Suraj and music has been scored by Devi Sri Prasad. Film is produced by Studio Green.

Vishal's Samar on wrap up mode

Samar starring Vishal, Trisha and Sunaina has reached the final leg of shooting. A song is being canned with the lead pair Vishal and Trisha. The film will be wrapped with this schedule. The film is an action thriller directed by Thiru. Yuvan is scoring the music and the audio is likely to be released soon.

Hansika not doing Sasikumar's film

News has been doing the rounds that Hansika is likely to play the lead opposite Sasikumar in a new project. Sasikumar has been approached to play the lead by a Kannada producer for a Tamil film. The film is to be directed by Socrates, a former associate of Kamal Hassan. The producer wanted to cast Hansika as the female lead. While Sasikumar is yet to take a final call on the project, Hansika has denied the news as rumour. She had tweeted, "I haven't signed any movie of Sasikumar sir. All the rumours running around are absolutely FAKE." 

Simbu takes a dig at music directors

Looks like Simbu is in for yet another controversy. The Poda Podi actor who has expressed his liking for Kumki songs on his microblog has also taken a dig at music directors. He had tweeted, "Than the recent big tamil movie audio, Kumki songs are 2000 times better!!! Why can't these so called big people deliver some good stuff?" Following his statement, the fans are trying to understand whether Simbu was taking a shot at Maattraan or NEP. The actor making such statement directly targeting big music directors is not good. Hope he doesn't spoil his career by getting into unwanted controversies.

Die Hard 5 Trailer

The first trailer of 'A Good Day to Die Hard' has been released. The movie is the  fifth installment in the "Die Hard" franchise. The story takes place in Moscow and sees Bruce Willis teaming up with his son (Jai Courtney) to take on some Russian baddies.  The movie is directed by John Moore  and is set to hit theaters on February 14, 2013.
