Ajith's film gets a title

Ajith is set to work with director Siruthai Siva after wrapping his current untitled project with director Vishnuvaradhan. Latest buzz is that the film has been titled 'Vetri Kondaan'. Though the media has been reporting about the new title of Ajith's film there is no official announcement yet from the makers. The film is touted to be a mass entertainer. Anushka has been approached to play the female lead. Film is produced by Vijaya Productions.

Zarine Khan to do an item song in Tamil

Bollywood's hot babe Zarine Khan of 'Veer' and 'Housefull 2' fame will be doing an item number for 'Naan Rajavaga Pogiren' starring Nakul, Chandni and newcomer Avani Modi. The film is directed by debutant Prithvi Rajkumar, former associate of Vetrimaran. Vetrimaran has penned the dialogues for the film. Zarine Khan will be shaking her legs with Nakul for a peppy track composed by G.V. Prakash.

Kadhal Sandhya in 'Amaidhi Padai' sequel?

It has been quite a while since Sandhya of Kadhal fame has been seen in the Kollywood radar. She was last seen in Irumbukottai Muruttu Singam. However Sandhya has got busy with her stint in Mollywood. The Kadhal girl has been approached for the lead role in the sequel of Amaidhi Padai. The actor is yet to sign on the dotted line. Mannivannan is set to direct the sequel of the political satire Amaidhi Padai which was released in 1994. Sathyaraj will be playing the lead role again. The film marks Mannivannan's 50th film and is likely to roll from October.
