Thulasi, daughter of yesteryear actress Radha who plays the female lead in Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' has got yet another reason to rejoice. The young actor who is happy to make her debut in one of the most expected films has bagged her next film even before her first film hit the screens. Thulasi will be playing the female lead in cinematographer Ravi K Chandran's directorial venture 'Yaan' with Jiiva in the lead.

The director had signed the heroine after hearing about her performance in Kadal. The trilingual film which is set to be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu is produced by Eldred Kumar of RS Infotainment. The pre-production of the film is currently in progress. Madhan Karky is penning the dialogues for the film.

The two divas Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit came together on the grand finale of the dance reality-show ‘Jhalak Dhikhhla Jaa’.

Rajnikanth watches English Vinglish

Superstar Rajnikanth watched Sridevi's comeback film 'English Vinglish' and was all praises for the team. A special screening was arranged for him by the crew yesterday. He was impressed with Sridevi's performance and other actors in the film. Priya Anand who had watched the film along with the Superstar had tweeted, "Superstar Rajinikanth thinks I did an awesome job! I think I can conquer the world!" The most awaited film directed by Gauri Shinde is slated for a release on October 5.
