KV Anand - Vijay Sethupathi movie titled Kavan

After keeping everyone guessing for about a day, directed KV Anand has revealed the title of his upcoming directorial, starring Vijay Sethupathi and T. Rajhendherr. Titled Kavan, the movie's concept is hinted when the director stated that the title befitted the situation of an underdog facing a pro for an adversary, and winning . The director even went on to explain the meaning of the title, describing it as a catapult / sling, one among the first weapons to be invented by early man life. Today's announcement also included the news of actor Vikranth playing a prominent role in Kavan. T. Rajhendherr has also lent his voice to a song titled Happy New Year in the film.

Madonna Sebastin plays the female lead in this movie which is a Hiphop Tamizha musical. Produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram of AGS Entertainment, Kavan has Abhinandan Ramanujam for cinematography and Dhilip Subbarayan for the stunts. DRK Kiran has been credited as the Art director and the cuts have been credited to editor Anthony. Writers Subha and Kabilan Vairamuthu have rendered their penning talent to the movie.
