Dhanush is in Varnasi shooting for his Bollywood debut flick 'Raanjhanaa' directed by Anand L Rai. The shooting which began almost 2 weeks ago has been progressing well. The latest we hear is that Dhanush has been down with typhoid. The actor has been counseled thorough rest after confirmation of typhoid. Music composer Anirudh has tweeted, "Dhanush is unwell and suffering from typhoid. Just spoke to him. He is going to continue shooting in Benaras once he gets well."

We wish the actor a speedy recovery!

Gautham all praise for Jiiva, Nani and Samantha

Gautham Menon is happy with the response for NEP audio. The director has also heaped praises on the lead stars Jiiva, Samantha and Nani. Jiiva and Samantha play the lead role in NEP while Nani and Samantha play the lead role in the Telugu version 'YVM'.

Gautham has said, "Simple film, beautiful music, very good actors, Jiiva, Nani and Samantha. Adithya too actually. Great experience for me. Loved every minute." The director had said he had enjoyed working with these actors. About Jiiva and Nani, "Both Jiiva and Nani have performed differently within the same structure. It's been a huge learning for me."

Jayam Ravi on action mode

Jayam Ravi is busy shooting for two projects 'Boologam' and Samuthrakani's 'Nimirndhu Nil'. The actor had recently shot a high voltage action sequence for Boologam in a car showroom in the outskirts of the city. Jayam Ravi plays a boxer in the film. Trisha plays the female lead. The film is directed by Kalyana Krishnan. Music by Srikanth Deva.

Vikram, Amy off to China

Director Shankar has completed the first schedule of 'I' starring Vikram, Amy Jackson, Suresh Gopi and Santhanam. The romantic thriller has been shaping up well and the director known for his grandeur and perfection has shot only a song and an action sequence so far. Vikram, Amy Jackson, Shankar and his team will be leaving to China for the next schedule. The team will be shooting in China for around 45 days. Music by A.R. Rahman. Film is producer by Aascar Films.

Ajay Devgn 'Son of Sardar' Title track

The title track of 'Son of Sardar' starring Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla has been officially released. Salman Khan does a cameo in the film. Music has been scored by Sajid-Wajid and Himesh Reshammiya. The film is slated to release on November 13.
