Hansika signs a new project
Hansika is a busy girl in the south shuttling between Tollywood and Kollywood for her projects. The pretty lass has now signed a new film in Tamil which would be a remake of Telugu film Ishq. Nithin and Nithya Menen played the lead roles in Telugu Ishq. Yesteryear actress Jayapradha is producing this film and her nephew Siddharth will debut as hero. The film is a romantic entertainer to be directed by Rajashekar.
Haniska's other projects in Kollywood include Vaalu, Vettaimannan and Singam 2. The bubbly beauty is all excited to join Singam 2 team for the shoot.

Thuppakki team to complete song shoot
Vijay, Kajal Agarwal, A.R. Murugadoss and team are currently in Mumbai canning song sequences. The last two songs are being shot with the lead actors. The team will wrap up this schedule on September 21. The hearing of the Thuppakki title case has been postponed again. The court has reserved the final judgement on the case to September 21.
Nani and Pranitha pair up
Nani who has became quite popular after the blockbuster success of Eega / Nani has signed a new bilingual project to be made in Tamil and Telugu. The film will be a remake of the hit Hindi film 'Band Baaja Baaraat'. The film is a romantic comedy set in the world of wedding planning. Pranitha of Saguni fame will play the female lead opposite Nani. The film will be directed by Vishnuvaradhan's former assistant Gokul. Nani is playing the lead in Telugu version of Gautham Menon's 'NEP' and Samuthrakani's 'Nimirndhu Nil'.

Srikanth signs two projects
Srikanth has signed two projects after his recent release 'Paagan'. He will play the lead in a untitled film to be directed by Arun Vaidyanathan of 'Achamundu Achamundu' fame. The film will be a political thriller. An official announcement regarding the film will be made on October 2.
The actor has signed another film titled 'Nambiar'. The film will be directed by debutant Ganesh, and Sathya will score the music.
Karthika to romance Arun Vijay?
Arun Vijay is set to begin his next project 'Deal' after 'Thadayara Thakka'. The film is to be directed by Siva Gnanam, a former assistant of 'Renigunta' director Pannerselvam. The leading lady of the film is yet to be finalised and the makers are in talks with few actress. Karthika of 'Ko' fame has also been approached for the role. The film is expected to go on floors by the end of the month after finalising the heroine.
'Khwahishein' song from Kareena's Heroine
A new song 'Khwahishein' from 'Heroine' starring Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda has been released. Heroine has Kareena Kapoor playing a superstar whose life goes for a toss for professional and personal reasons. Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar the film is slated for a release on September 21. Kareena Kapoor revels in a lot of fan adulation in the new Heroine song sung by Shreya Ghoshal.
