Oppam and Oozham Box Office Report; Oppam strikes gold

Mohanlal starrer Oppam is performing extraordinarily well at the box office. The movie, which released last Thursday, collected Rs 7.25 crore from its opening weekend in Kerala. This is the second best opening for a Malayalam movie in Kerala after Mammootty's Kasaba, which grossed Rs 7.35 crore.

Prithviraj's Oozham, despite the mixed reviews, managed to hold on well during the weekend. The movie is estimated to have grossed Rs 4.5 crore from the opening weekend at the box office.
