STR shakes legs for Santhanam
Santhanam who is ruling the roost in Kollywood is also busy shooting for his maiden production venture 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaya'. Santhanam, Powerstar and Vishaka play lead roles. STR who shares a good rapport with Santhanam is said to have agreed to do a dance number for his upcoming film 'KLTA'. STR, Santhanam and Powerstar will be dancing for the song. Powerstar has tweeted, "Simbu, Santhanam and me dancing together in Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya". The film is directed by Manikandan and music is by Thaman.
Santhanam turns singer
Santhanam who has turned producer for KLTA is said to have donned the avatar of a singer. If sources are to be believed the actor has sung four songs in the film. He plays a role of a Ghaana singer in the movie and has crooned his voice for the tracks.

Arya does a cameo for Vishal
Arya who has started shooting for Ajith Vishnu's untitled flick after returning from Georgia completing a long schedule for Irandam Ulagam. The actor will be doing a cameo for Vishal - Sundar C's upcoming action comedy 'Madha Gaja Raja @ MGR'. Arya is said to have agreed to do it for his good friend Vishal. The actor is said to be shooting for his cameo with Vishal in Hyderbad. Arya's other projects include Settai and an untitled film to be directed by Shankar's assistant Atlee where he pairs opposite Nayanthara.
Shiva signs a film with Krithika Stalin
Mirchi Shiva is certainly a roll! The actor has been signed to play the lead role in Krithika Udayanidh's debut venture. Krithika is all set to direct a romantic comedy. The film is yet to be titled and the remaining cast will be finalised soon. Anirudh is set to compose the music for the film. Shiva's other projects include an untitled flick with director Krishnan Jayaraj and remake of Thillu Mullu. An official announcment is awaited soon!
Amala makes a comeback
Actress Amala Akkineni is back on screens after a hiatus of 20 years. She will be seen in Sekhar Kammula’s film 'Life is Beautiful'. Amala plays the role of a single mother to two daughters in the film. The film stars six newcomers along with Shriya Saran, Anjala Zaveri and Amala Akkineni in key roles. 'Life is Beautiful' is set to hit the screens on September 14.
