UTV as confirmed the release date of Vikram, Anushka starrer 'Thandavam' directed by A.L. Vijay as September 28. Thandavam is one of the most expected films this year. G. V. Prakash has scored the music. The promotions for the film have kickstarted in full swing. Dhananjayan of UTV has made few announcements regarding the film promotions.

Shivathaandavam [Telugu 'Thandavam'] Audio release on September 11 at Hyderabad. Vikram will be a part the event.

Daniel Kish, the inspiration for one of the characters of Chiyaan in Thaandavam will be in Chennai on September 12. He will attend a press meet with Vikram.

For the first time, UTV will be releasing one full song of Thaandavam in all music channels and Youtube on September 14 to kickstart TV promotions.

A new action dialogue packed 'Thaandavam' trailer to be unveiled next week.

Ajith Vishnu film is still untitled

Ajith-Vishnu’s untitled project is progressing in full swing. The film shooting is currently happening in OMR, Chennai with all the lead stars Ajith, Nayanthara, Arya and Taapsee. According to the director the film is still untitled. He is keen on completing the film first before deciding on the title. The ongoing title issue in Kollywood for popular films seems to be the reason behind the director’s decision for not titling his film. Yuvan will score the music and the film is produced by A.M. Ratnam.

Sattai postponed

The release date of Samuthrakani starrer 'Sattai' where he plays a school teacher has now been postponed to September 21. Film is directed by Anbhazhagan and music has been scored by D. Imman. The film is jointly produced by director Prabhu Solomon and John Max.

G.V. Prakash bags another Bollywood film

G.V. Prakash was appreciated for his bgscore in Anurag Kashyap's 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. He also composed music for Akshay Kumar's 'Joker'. The young composer has now signed his third film 'Ugly' to be directed by Anurag Kashyap again.

Bhoot Returns Trailer

Bhoot Returns is the sequel of 'Bhoot'. The film is a 3D horror flick directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Manisha Koirala and J.D. Chakravarthy play the lead roles. The film is set to hit the screens on October 12.
