Its Yuvan Shankar Raja's birthday today. As the composer rings his 37th this year, we decided to present to you a collection of his classic compositions. It was a tough call but we've managed to round up on the top 15.

This remains one of his most critically acclaimed (CIFF award - Best Musical Score) and commercially validated composition till date. The song revolves around a mother-son bond. With K.J.Yesudas' voice melting your heart every time, this song had to make it to this list.
6.Mun Paniya - Nandha
This beautifully shot song brings about a fresh aura to it. One of the Yuvan's most interesting composition.
7.Oru Kal Oru Kannadi - Siva Manasula Shakthi
Quite popular and played on a loop by many youngsters, this song here used to be the unofficial break-up song of its times.
8.Oru Nalil - Pudupettai
Another track with the composer's own voice, the song highlights the irony of life and the way this world works. Heart-touching.
9.Poi Solla Indha Manasuku - April Mathathil
A classic melody, this track is more of a sad song than a happy one.
10.Anandha Yazhai Meetugiral - Thanga Meengal
This famous track earned its lyricist (Late Na. Muthukumar) a National Award and the composer a new peak in his career. The song as a whole was a lot different for Yuvan's composition.
