Thuppakki team off to Mumbai
Thuppakki team is all gearing up to release the film for Diwali. Vijay, A.R. Murugadoss and his team will be leaving to Mumbai to shoot the pending songs and some patchwork shots. One of the song will be an introduction song and another will be a duet song. The introduction song will showcase Vijay as an encounter specialist.
The post production work is progressing in full swing. The film is also to be released in Telugu simultaneously for Diwali. The makers who are waiting for the final verdict over the title issue on September 10 are also planning to release the teaser on the next day September 11 if the verdict turns out to be in their favour.
Dhanush and Sonam turn school kids
Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor who are shooting for Anand L Rai's 'Raanjhnaa' in Varnasi are having a gala time on the sets. The two have been shooting in school uniforms as 17 year old school kids. Dhanush who played the role of a school boy in '3' is back again as a schook kid in this film. Sonam and Dhanush have taken efforts to look much younger than their age for the role.
Powerstar in Nagesh's role
The shooting of 'Thillu Mullu' which is a remake of yesteryear classic cult by the same name began recently with a formal launch. The cast includes Shiva, Isha Talwar, Prakash Raj, Kovai Sarala, Sathyan. Powerstar who will play a pivotal role in the film is said to be essaying the role of Nagesh played in the original. Since the story has been reworked to suit the current audience, his part in the film will be a surprise element. Film is directed by Badri and produced by Vendhar Movies.
A.R. Murugadoss's next 'Vatthukuchhi'
A.R. Murugadoss who turned producer with 'Engeyum Eppothum' is ready to produce his next film titled 'Vattikuchi'. His brother Saravanan will debut as hero and Anjali will play the female lead. The film will be directed by Murugadoss's assistant Kinslin. Gibran of 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame will score the music. The film will be jointly produced by Fox Star Studios.
Taapsee nervous about Ajith-Vishnu film
Taapse Pannu of Aadukalam fame is all happy and excited to begin her next project in Kollywood. The hot beauty plays the lead role in one of the most expected film starring Arya, Ajith and Nayanthara directed by Vishnuvaradhan. She is joining the team today for her first schedule.
The actor has said, "Finally with all the costume trials and discussions its all set to start one of the most awaited movie of the year. Vishnu sir looks thrilled. I'm nervous and excited at the same time! Its going to be all four of us today. Ajith sir, Nayan, Arya and me! Cheers to a new beginning!". Arya who is back from Georgia after completing a long schedule for Irandam Ulagam is also looking forward to shoot with Ajith.
