Thuppakki is one of the most awaited film starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles directed by A.R. Murugadoss. Though the film is facing title trouble, the makers have announced the release of the film on Diwali. The director of the film A.R. Murugadoss has confirmed the news by tweeting, "தீபாவளி முதல் சரவெடி..!".

Vijay fans who were upset with the delay in the legal proceedings over the title issue are now excited with the news and are eagerly awaiting to catch their hero in action. The hearing for the case as been scheduled on September 10. It looks like the makers are confident to win over the legal battle. The audio of the film is expected to be released this month. If all goes well, the teaser will also be out before the audio release. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music. Film is produced by Kalaipuli S. Dhanu.

Prabhu Deva and Mary Kom had walked the ramp for Mijwan Fashion Show. It was a fund raising show which had many popular celebrities from Bollywood. 

Samudrakani's 'Sattai' release

Sattai starring Samudrakani, Yuvan, Swasika, Magima is set to hit the screens on September 19. Samuthirakani plays a school teacher in Sattai. The film talks about the importance of the noble profession of teaching. Actor Yuvan who plays the student will be the parallel lead. Thambi Ramaiah will also be seen in an important role. 

M Anbazhagan, a former associate of director Prabhu Solomon, will direct the film which is produced by Prabhu Solomon and John Max under the banner of Shalom Studios. Music by Imman. Interestingly his best friend Sasikumar's film 'Sundarapandian' is releasing on September 14. Sasikumar is the hero and producer of the film. The film cleared the censor with 'U' certificate.

Radha Mohan's 'Gouravam' wraps a schedule

Gouravam starring Allu Sirish and Yami Gautham (Vicky Donor fame) directed by Radha Mohan is progressing well. The film marks the debut of Allu Sirish, younger brother of Allu Arjun. The team which was shooting in Rajamundry has completed the second schedule. Only two more small schedules are to be shot to wrap the film. The film is a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu and produced by Prakash Raj's 'Duet Movies'. Thaman is scoring the music. 

'Vaayamoodi' song from Mugamoodi

'Vaayamoodi' song from Mugamoodi is a popular song that is topping the charts. Mugamoodi starring Jiiva, Pooja Hedge directed by Mysskin hit the screens last week. The makers have released the video of the popular track 'Vaayamoodi'. The 'Maayavi' song which was removed will also be featured in the film soon. Music by K.
