Ajith to attend Kochadaiyaan audio launch?

The post production work of Kochadaiyaan is happening in full swing. A technical crew of three members who had been part of Titanic 3D project are currently in Chennai helping the team with the computer graphics and animation related work. The first of its kind 3D motion capture film starring Rajnikanth, Deepika Padukone, Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Shobhana, Aadhi and Rukmini Vijayakumar is slated for a release in December.

The film is expected to have a grand audio launch in Tokyo. A.R. Rahman has scored the music. Buzz is Ajith is likely to attend the audio launch function at Tokyo. Ajith's respect and admiration for the Superstar is a known fact. The actor who seldom attends public functions or his own film related promotions is expected to be make his presence at the audio launch. Film is directed by Soundarya Rajnikanth.

'Alex Pandian' in Malayalam

Alex Pandian starring Karthi and Anushkha in lead roles is an action entertainer directed by Suraj. Karthi's film which usually gets released in Tamil and Telugu will be dubbed in Malayalam for the first time. The Malayalam dubbed version will also release simultaneously along with the Tamil and Telugu versions.

Hope Karthi who has a good fan base in Telugu will captivate the Mollywood audience as well. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music and the film is slated for a release in October. 

Dhanush's Sotta Vazhakutty delayed

Dhanush has started shooting for his Bollywood debut film 'Raanjhnaa' in Varnasi. The actor will be shooting for a continuous 40 day schedule. Sonam Kapoor plays the female lead and the film is directed by Anand L Rai. Raanjhnaa which was to start rolling in June got delayed and the film shooting kick-started only recently. The shooting of Sotta Vazhakutty which was to begin in September is also getting delayed because of this. Sargunam of 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame is directing this film and the project is expected to take off in November.

'Disco' song from Karan Johar's 'SOTY'

For those of you remember Nazia Hassan’s cult song ‘Disco Deewane’ from the 1980s, you will be glad to know that music directors Vishal and Shekhar have adapted the track for Karan Johar’s upcoming film Student of the Year. Performed by Sunidhi Chauhan, the song features newcomers Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra grooving to the peppy tune immortalised by the Pakistani singer.
