Arya to shoot for Ajith-Vishnuvaradhan film

Arya to shoot for Ajith-Vishnuvaradhan film

Arya who had left to Georgia for a two month long schedule for Selvaragavan's 'Irandam Ulagam' is back to India. Arya will next shoot for Vishnuvaradhan's untitled flick also starring Ajith, Nayanthara and Taapsee. The team which began shooting in Mumbai last month has wrapped up a schedule. The next schedule is likely to begin on September 10.

Arya will join the team for this schedule. The announcement of the film title is expected soon. Yuvan is scoring the music and the film is produced by A.M. Ratnam. The actor will also begin shooting for 'Settai' which was wrapped with one schedule.

Jiiva and Trisha to start shooting

Jiiva is all set to start shooting for his next film 'Endrendrum Punnagai' to be directed by Ahmed of 'Vaamanan' fame. Trisha plays the lead opposite to him for the first time. Vinay and Santhanam are also part of the cast. The film is set to start rolling from September 15 in Chennai for a ten day schedule. The film will be a romantic musical. Harris Jayaraj scores the music. A huge office set is to be erected for the first schedule of the film. 

Srikanth's 'Paagan' from September 7

The audio of Srikanth, Janani Iyer starrer 'Paagan' directed by debutant Mohammed Aslam was released yesterday. The film touted to be a comedy entertainer is set to hit the screens on September 7. Kovai Sarla, Paroota Soori and Pandi play supporting roles. 'Paagan' is the next film to release for Srikanth after Shankar's 'Nanban'. James Vasanthan has scored the music.

'Maayavi' song from 'Mugamoodi' removed

Mugamoodi starring Jiiva, Pooja Hegde, Narain and Nasser directed by Mysskin hit the screens on August 31. The first of its kind superhero film has received mixed response from the critics and audience. 'Maayavi' song sung by Chinmayi has been removed due to the length of the film.
