Mani Ratnam's Kadal to release in November 

Mani Ratnam announced that he is planning to release Kadal by November of this year. He annnounced this during a recent centenary celebrations of Indian Cinema held in Pondicherry. It is not clear whether Mani is planning a Diwali release to coincide with Thuppaki's release. This is yet another movie to join a long list of highly expected movies planned for the last 4 months of this year. 

Mani Ratnam is known for keeping a low profile during the production stages for all his prior movies. The director strictly instructs all his cast and crew members to maintain total secrecy until official announcements are made. Kadal is expected to reveal the fresh new look of Gautham (Karthik's son) and Tulasi(Radha's daughter), who are expected to bring back 1980 classic Alaigal Oivadhillai's magic on screen. Another strong point about this movie is AR Rahman's music who has always given his best for Mani Ratnam.
