Thuppakki team is currently shooting a song sequence in Geneva, Switzerland. The team is shooting the song with the lead pair Vijay and Kajal Agarwal. The song shoot will be wrapped today and the team would return to India tomorrow.

Harris Jayaraj who has scored the music has said that the film's audio will be out by mid September. The makers are waiting for the final verdict over the title issue to release the teaser. The film is set to release for Diwali.

Bubbly actress Hansika was roped in to play the role of Amala Paul in the Telugu remake of ‘Vettai’. Tammana has now bagged the role as Hansika had opted out of the project. The hot beauty has clarified her stand to put an end to the speculations spinning around her walk out.

The actor on her microblog had tweeted, “Unfortunately had to back out of the Telugu remake of Vettai due to dates problem. As I have six projects on board currently, I couldn’t provide the bulk dates to this project as they have to release the film by the end of the year. So here's the real reason why I backed out of the project.”

Jayam Raja ready for Bollywood?

Jayam Raja who is yet to announce his next project after Velayudham was recently in the news for a possible remake for 'Ek Tha Tiger' with Vijay in Tamil. The director who has denied the news as rumour is likely to foray into Bollywood. The director is looking forward to do a Hindi film with Akshay Kumar. The final deal is yet to be made. On the other hand, he is also working on a script which would be a bilingual. The Velayudham director is yet to take a final call on which project to begin first.

Sasikumar's 'Sundarapandian' Trailer

'Sundarapandian' starring Sasikumar and Lakshmi Menon is directed by debutant SR Prabhakaran who is a former associate of Sasikumar. The film produced by Sasikumar's 'Company Productions' is a love story. Music has been scored by N.R. Ragunathan. The film is set to hit the screens on September 14.
