Rakul Preet Singh to star opposite Mahesh Babu in his Next

It is official now that Actress Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in to play the leading lady Mahesh Babu's upcoming film with director AR Murugadoss. Director AR Murugadoss confirmed this information on his twitter page.The project is slated to go on floors in August.

Earlier Parineeti Chopra was signed the female lead of the film. But Parineeti has left the project and the exact reasons are yet unknown. As her replacement, the makers are signing Rakul, who has already done a test shoot.

Santhosh Sivan will be handling the camera. Music is by Harris Jayaraj. The movie will be produced by Tagore Madhu.
