This year the Bollywood box office collection started with witnessing mega-hit off the year which includes Akshay Kumar starers Airlift and Housefull 3. Indeed these two movies bring positive and massive cash on the box office of the Hindi cinema.

 

Now last weekend Salman Khan’s Sultan hit theatre which collect huge number of the money on the Bollywood box office, in fact the film managed to cross the 100 crore mark in just 3 days after it’s released and this is making Sultan a blockbuster flick in one hand on the other hand highest grossing Hindi movie of the contemporary time ever.

 

Sultan witnessed huge growth due to the weakened and there was advance booking for the movie anyway, no wonder why the movie is doing too well in the Bollywood box office. The film currently stands at Rs. 142.34 crores* and with that, it has defeated the collections of the movie like, Airlift [127.8 crores] and Housefull 3 [107.70 crores].

"#Sultan - OVERSEAS: Wed $ 3.04 million, Thu $ 2.80 million, Fri $ 2.63 million. Total: $ 8.47 million [₹ 56.87 cr]. SUPERBBBB!" Adarsh tweeted, adding: "#Sultan: Major chunk of revenue from Overseas has come from UAE-GCC [$ 3.75 million] and USA-Canada [$ 1.69 million]. Note: Wed to Fri biz."

 

Directed by Ali, "Sultan" was released in 5,450 screens worldwide on July 6. The film features Salman and Anushka as wrestlers, while Randeep Hooda, Amit Sadh and Kumud Mishra are in the supporting cast.
