Anushka who was in Georgia for Selvaragavan's 'Irandam Ulagam' has wrapped up her portions and is back in town. The pretty lass had completed a hectic 40 day schedule. The team had been shooting despite bad weather conditions and in remote locations. The svelte beauty had done her part without any qualms. Selvaraghavan who was highly impressed with her performance had thrown a surprise farewell party for her.

Anushka has joined Alex Pandian team from yesterday. The team had been waiting for her to complete a pending song. A song sequence with Karthi and Anushka is being shot in AVM Studios and the film will be wrapped with the song. Alex Pandian is set to hit the screens on October 12. Film is directed by Suraj and music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Taapsee plays a journalist

Taapsee Pannu of 'Aadukalam' fame is a busy bee in Tollywood. The hot beauty will be seen part of Ajith - Vishnuvaradhan's multi-starrer film. Taapsee is playing a role of a journalist. The actor is pretty excited with her role as it is an important one in the film. Arya, Nayanthara are also part of the cast. The film shooting is currently happening in Mumbai and is expected to go on till next month. Rana Daggubati who does a cameo has completed shooting his portions in Mumbai. Music is scored by Yuvan.

Mugamoodi Promotions

Mugamoodi, one of the most awaited 'Superhero' flick directed by Mysskin is set to release in around 450 - 500 screens worldwide on August 31. Mugamoodi running time will be 155 minutes. As part of promotions, songs from Mugamoodi are to be released from next week.

Dhanjayan of UTV has said, "One well shot song will be released in Youtube on Tuesday/Wednesday. On Friday another song and on Monday last song. Look forward!" The film is getting released in Telugu as 'Mask'. Jiiva, Pooja Hegde and Narain play lead roles. Music has been scored by K.

Srikanth's 'Pagan' in September

Srikanth has been doing two films in Tamil 'Pagan' and 'Ethiri Enn 3' after 'Nanban'. Pagan is a complete comedy entertainer directed by Aslam. Janani Iyer of 'Avan Ivan' fame plays the female lead. Pandi, Parotta Suri and Kovai Sarla play supporting roles. The film will be out in September. Music has been scored by James Vasanthan.

Aashiyan Song from Barfi

Barfi starring Ranbir, Priyanka and Ileana is set to hit the screens on September 14. A new song 'Aashiyan' has been released featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. Ranbir plays a mute character while Priyanka plays a mentally challenged girl. Film is directed by Anurag Basu.
