NEP in final leg of shooting

NEP in final leg of shooting

Gautham Menon's 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' starring Jiiva and Samantha in lead roles has reached the final leg of shooting. The shooting of both the Tamil and Telugu version 'Yeto Vellipoindhi Mansu' with Nani in the lead are happening simultaneously. Samantha who is happy to join the team after a short break has tweeted in her microblog, "Back to NEP and YVM team. Last schedule is going be a challenge."

The romantic musical is one of the most awaited films and is expected to be wrapped with this schedule. The much awaited audio will be launched in a live concert performed by music maestro Ilayaraja on September 1.

Sattam Oru Iruttarai gets a title

The remake of yesteryear blockbuster 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' directed by newbie Sneha has been titled 'Thozhan'. The cast includes Thaman, Bindhu Madhavi, Reema Sen and Pia Bajpai. The team will be next leaving to Hong Kong for the next schedule of the film which is likely to begin in September. They will shooting some major portions of the film and few songs. Vijay Antony is scoring the music. 

Thuppakki hearing today

Thuppakki team along with Vijay and Kajal Agarwal are shooting for a song sequence in Geneva. The film shooting will be wrapped up with the song. The hearing of Thuppaki title issue which was postponed to various dates is coming up today and the final verdict is eagerly awaited without any further postponements. The makers are waiting for the verdict to release the teaser of the film. However the good news is Harris Jayaraj has confirmed about the audio being available in stores by mid of next month.

Bappi Lahiri's 'Naughty Raja' song

Bollywood music composer and playback singer Bappi Lahiri has sung a song 'Naughty Raja' in the film 'Karuppampatti'. 'Naughty Raja' is a peppy number. Ajmal and Aparnaa Bajpai play the lead roles. The audio of Karumpatti was launced recently and the film has five songs. Music has been scored by Kannan. Film is directed by Prabhu Raja Cholan.
