STR shoots in spite of fever

STR shoots in spite of fever

STR has been shooting in Mumbai for the climax song of Poda Podi with Varalakshmi Sarathkumar. The song is said to be a Kuthu number with heavy dance moves. The film will be wrapped with the song. Yesterday being the last day of shoot, STR had caught up with cold and fever and had still managed to complete the song shoot despite not being well. The actor had said, "Inspite of fever and cold, finally the song is done. Going to crash now. Hope I will be better tomorrow." The film is directed by Vignesh Shiva and has music by Dharan.

Vijay on the sets of Sattam Oru Irutarai

Vijay dropped in to the sets of 'Sattam Oru Iruttarai' and surprised the entire team. The film is a remake of yesteryear blockbuster directed by his father S.A. Chandrasekhar. Sneha who happens to be S.A. Chandrashekhar's neice is directing the film under the supervision of the veteran director.

Newcomer Tharun Kumar plays the lead while Bindhu Madhavi plays the female lead. Reema Sen and Pia Bajpai are also part of the cast. The team had been shooting a song sequence when Ilayathalapathy had visited the sets to spend some time with the team. The entire cast and crew was happy and excited about his surprise visit.

Vishal's next

Vishal has signed a new film to be directed by Bhoopathi Pandian of 'Thiruvilayadal Arambam' and 'Malaikottai' fame. The film is said to be a comedy entertainer. The director was recently in news for walking out of Nayanthara, Gopichand film due to difference of opinion with the makers. He is getting ready to team up with Vishal again after 'Malaikottai'. The film produced by Michael Rayappan is expected to start rolling from November. 

Perarasu back with Thiruthani

Director Perarasu of 'Thirupachi' and 'Sivakasi' fame is ready with his next film titled 'Thiruthani' starring Bharath and Sunaina in lead roles. Raj Kiran and Pandiarajan play supporting roles. Bharath plays a gym instructor. The audio of the film was launched yesterday. Interestingly director Perarasu has turned music composer for the film this time. Both the actor and director desperately need a hit to revive their career which has been going downhill.
