That Director Bala has wrapped up the shoot of his film 'Paradesi' and the film is set for an October release is old news. The legendary lyricist Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics for a song in Paradesi. The highlight is that Vairamuthu is writing the lyrics for Bala's film for the first time. The music is composed by G.V, Prakash who has also teamed up with Bala for the first time. Atharva, Vedhika and Dhansika play lead roles. The audio release will happen next month.

The shooting of 'Kanna Laddo Thinna Aasaiya' is almost complete. Santhanam, Powerstar Dr. Srinivasan, newcomer Sethu and Vishakha play lead roles. The film is directed by Manikandan and promises to be a laugh riot. Thaman is scoring the music. Santhanam and Vishakha recently shot for a Kuthu song. The First Look of the film is expected to be revealed shortly. The film marks Santhanam's maiden production venture jointly with director Rama Narayanan.

Siddharth joins Vetrimaran's team

Siddharth is playing the lead in a yet-to-be-titled film directed by Vetrimaran's assistant Manikandan. Vetrimaran has written the story and screenplay for the film. The film is said to be a road story filled with fun and youthful elements. The first schedule was shot in Bangalore in May. The film's shooting has resumed with the next schedule. Siddharth who is happy to join the team back has tweeted, "Back on set with Vetrimaaran and Manikandan. Headed for an exciting, but very hectic 2 weeks!" Vetrimaran is producing this film along with Dayanidhi Azhagiri.
