Parthiban's daughter Keerthana won the National Award for her performance as child artist in her debut film 'Kannathil Muthamittal' directed by ace director Mani Ratnam. She has now donned a new role as an assistant director. Keerthana has turned AD to director Vishnuvaradhan for his untitled film starring Ajith, Nayanthara, Arya and Taapsee in lead roles. The next schedule has begun in Mumbai and Keerthana has joined the team for the shoot. 

Parthiban had tweeted in his microblog about her first day experience as AD, "கீர்த்தனா உதவி இயக்குனராக அஜித் நடிக்க கிளாப் அடித்தாராம். அவரே வந்து நலம் விசாரித்தாராம் தல-கால் புரியாத மகிழ்ச்சி முதல் நாள் அனுபவம்."

Rana Daggubati shoots with Ajith

There were reports of Rana Daggubati acting in Ajith Vishnuvaradhan's untitled flick. the actor seems to be doing a cameo in the flick. He had joined the team to shoot for his portions. The actor had tweeted, "Back in Mumbai after very long. Shooting here for the little cameo I'm paying in the Ajit-Vishnu Vardhan tamil film. So its Tamil in Mumbai!!"

Sony Music has grabbed the audio rights of Superstar's 'Kochadaiyaan'. Kochadaiyaan is one of the most awaited films of the year. Its the first 3D animation film using Motion Capture technology. The films boasts an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Shobana, Aadhi and Rukmini Vijayakumar. The post production work of the film is going in full swing and the film is expected to hit the screens on December 12 on Rajni's birthday. Soundarya Rajnikanth is weilding the megaphone under the supervision of ace director K.S. Ravikumar. Music by A.R. Rahman.
