Director Bala has completed the shooting of his film ‘Paradesi’ in record time of 90 days which has not been the norm when compared to his other films. The film starring Atharva, Vedhika and Dhansika in lead roles is based on a Malayalam novel ‘Eriyum Thanal’. Paradesi revolves around the lives of tea plantation workers and the struggles faced by them in their day to day life.

G.V. Prakash has composed music for Bala’s film for the first time. The team is gearing up for the audio and trailer release which has been scheduled on September 19 in London.

Director A.L. Vijay who is busy with the post production of Thandavam will then team up with Vijay for a commercial action entertainer. A.L. Vijay is said to have readied the script for his next film. The film is expected to go on floors in November.

The buzz is Amala Paul is being considered for the leading lady. Though there has not been any confirmation, Amala Paul is being speculated as Vijay’s heroine. Amala Paul had earlier worked with director Vijay in Deiva Thirumagal. Meanwhile, Vijay is expected to wrap with Thuppakki directed by A.R. Murugadoss. G.V. Prakash is scoring the music for the film and will begin composing next month in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
