Yuvan begins work on Briyani

Biryani starring Karthi, Richa and Premgi Amaren is the upcoming venture of Venkat Prabhu after Mankatha. Yuvan is composing music for Briyani and is teaming up with Venkat Prabhu for the fifth time after Chennai 28, Saroja, Goa and Mankatha. The film marks his 100th film and director Venkat Prabhu is happy to work with Yuvan on his landmark film. 

Yuvan, Venkat Prabhu and Premgi Amaren have left to Malaysia for the song composing of Briyani. Premgi Amaran had tweeted, "Flying to Malaysia tonight with my brothers Venkat Prabhu and Yuvan Shankar raja for BIRIYANI song composing."

Ganesh Venkatraman's 'Pani Thuli' ready for release

Ganesh Venkatraman of Unnai Pol Oruvan and Abhiyum Naanum fame has played a full fledged hero in romantic thriller 'Pani Thulli'. He will be seen romancing two new heroines Shobana and Kalpana Pandit.The film is slated for a release on August 10. The actor has put in a lot of effort for this film and is hopeful that it will get a good response from the audience. The film is directed by Natty Kumar.

Shivaji 3D cut short

Shivaji starring Rajnikanth and Shriya directed by Shankar which was released in 2007 is set to be released in 3D again this year. The 3D conversion process is said to have been complete and the output has been good. Rajnikanth who had watched the 3D version is happy with its outcome. The 3D version however has been cut short to a running time of 137 minutes while the original version length ran up to 185 minutes. 

Udayanidhi in Aan Pavam remake?

Udayanidhi who made his debut in Oru Kal Oru Kannadi is looking for the right script to begin his next film. The actor-producer wants to do light hearted comedy similar to OKOK as of now. He has been listening to several scripts and the latest we hear is that he is keen in remaking yesteryear comedy blockbuster 'Aan Pavam'.

The actor is said to have procured the rights of the film and is likely to play the role of Pandiaraj while he prefers to rope in Santhanam who was the backbone behind OKOK's success for Pandian's role. Udaynidhi is in the lookout for a suitable director. Also the actor seems to be interested in doing a comedy caper with Sundar C. However an offical confirmation is awaited.

Pizza Trailer

The team of Pizza have come out with an intriguing first look teaser. The teaser has got good response since it was released online. The film is a thriller that revolves around the life of a pizza delivery guy and the situations he gets into on a particular day. 

Vijay Sethupathy and Ramya Nambeesan have played the lead roles and the film is directed by Karthik Subburaj. Pizza has two songs by Santosh Narayanan.
