Surya playing conjoined twins in K.V. Anand's Maattraan is old news. The latest we hear is two Russian actress have shared screenspace with Surya. While Kajal plays the lead role, actresses Irina Maleeva and Julia Bliss have appeared in the portions that have been filmed in Russia.

Maatttraan team is gearing up for the audio launch at Singapore on August 9. The makers of the film have planned the audio launch to be a glitzy and grand affair. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music and fans are eagerly awaiting for the audio release.

'Mugamoodi' is 'Mask' in Telugu

The much awaited superhero flick starring Jiiva, Narain and Pooja Hegde will be released in Telugu as 'Mask' by R.B. Chowdary's 'Mega SuperGood Films'. Mugamoodi team is currently completing the song shoot in Europe. The team is likely to return on August 8.

An audio launch event has been planned for the Telugu version 'Mask' on August 12. Music director K is working towards the audio launch. Jiiva had tweeted in his microblog, "Mugamoodi is being dubbed in Telugu as Mask. Planning to launch the film's audio on August 12. Hope the magic repeats like Rangam (Telugu 'Ko')". Mugamoodi directed by Mysskin will hit the screens on August 31.

SJ Surya ropes in top directors

SJ Surya's upcoming musical thriller film 'Isai' is progressing at a brisk pace. The multi talented actor-director has turned music composer for his film. He plays the role of an aspiring musician who strives to mark a mark in the film industry. As per the story, SJ Surya would approach film directors for opportunities and the director has planned to rope in 4 directors for a cameo appearance.

Surya had already shot few scenes with director Vishnuvaradhan and has approached top directors like Shankar, Lingusamy and Venkat Prabhu for the cameo. Surya had appeared in a cameo in Shankar's 'Nanban' and the director is likely to return the favour.

Siva Karthikeyan and Vimal's film kickstarts

Director Pandiraj of 'Marina' fame has started shooting for his next film 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga' starring Vimal, Siva Karthikeyan, Bindhu Madhavi and Regina. The film went on floors yesterday and will be shot continuously till September. The film will be a laugh riot with high doses of comedy. Yuvan scores the music.

Sathyaraj in Sivappu

Sivappu is the upcoming film of director Sathya Siva after 'Kazhugu'. Naveen Chandra and Rupa Manjari play the lead roles in the film which is based on the lives of construction labours. Sathyaraj would be playing an important role in the film.

Srikanth's 'Pagan' trailer

Pagan is a comedy film starring Srikanth and Janani Iyer as the lead pair. Director Mohammad Aslam promises a laugh riot from the beginning till the end. Kovai Sarala, Pandi and Suri play key roles. The film has music by James Vasanthan.
