Siva Karthikeyan plays the lead alongside Vimal in 'Marina' fame Pandiraj's upcoming film 'Kedi Billa and Rowdy Ranga'. Vimal and Siva who had made their debut in Pandiraj's flicks 'Pasanga' and 'Marina' are teaming up for this romantic comedy. While Bindhu Madhavi has been roped to play Vimal's love interest, the director was in the lookout for a suitable pair for Siva.

Regina Cassandra who played the lead role in the Telugu version of SMS has been finalised as the leading lady opposite Siva Karthikeyan. The film will go on floors from today. Yuvan will compose the music for the film and is teaming up with Pandiraj for the first time.

Mugamoodi team including the lead pair Jiiva and Pooja Hegde have left to Switzerland to shoot two song sequences. Vaayamoodi song which is a popular number from the film has been canned. The team has now started shooting for the next song 'Mayavi' from today.

 

Jiiva had tweeted in his microblog, "Finished 'Vayamoodi' song. Will start the song 'Mayavi' from today night. Night shoots ahead for the next 6 days." The film will wrap up with the song shoot. Mugamoodi will hit the screens on August 31. Directed by Mysskin. music has been scored by K. Film is produced by UTV.

'Kazhugu' director's next 'Sivappu'

Director Sathya Siva who shot to fame with his debut venture 'Kazhugoo' has titled his next film 'Sivappu'. The film is based on the lives of construction labours and the film is set in the backdrop of Rameshwaram. Naveen Chandra of 'Andala Rakchasi' (Telugu) fame and Rupa Manjari of 'Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru' fame play the lead pair. Sathya of 'Engeyum Epothum' fame will score the music and the film is produced by Muktha Entertainment. 

Thuppakki hearing postponed again

The hearing of Thuppaki's title issue has been postponed again to August 6. A case had been filed by the makers of Kalla Thuppaki stating that the Vijay's film title was similar to their film. The hearing for the case which was scheduled on July 16 got postponed due to various reasons and the latest is August 6. Thuppaki team is eagerly awaiting the verdict as the court has asked them not to use the film's title until then.

James Bond 'Sky Fall' new trailer

A new trailer for the forthcoming James Bond film 'Skyfall' has been released. The twenty-third James Bond film, directed by Sam Mendes, is the third to feature Daniel Craig as 007, after Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace. This is the second trailer to be released for Skyfall. The major new inclusion is a closer look at villain Javier Bardem. The film is slated for a release in November.
