Alex Pandian starring Anushka, Karthi and Santhanam directed by Suraaj is set to be released in October 12. Rumours were rife that Anushka who is busy with other projects couldn't allot the dates for Alex Pandian and the team is unable to complete the film shooting. The makers of the film have clarified that Anushka is not the reason for delay.

The hot actress has completed major portions involving her before leaving to Georiga for Irandam Ulagam shoot. She had also agreed to adjust her dates and complete the film once she comes back from Georgia. Also the film is said to be going on schedule and the portions involving Karthi and Santham are currrently being shot. Anushka is expected to join the team in mid August for a ten day schedule to complete a song and a climax scene. The film is produced by Studio Green.

'Mirattal' from August

Mirattal starring Vinay, Sharmila Mandre and Santhanam will be out on August 2. Directed by Madhesh of ‘Madura’ and ‘Arasangam’ fame, the film is an action comedy. The director assures that the scenes involving Vinay and Santhanam will keep the audience in splits and the film has been interlaced with high doses of comedy from the start to the end. Music by Pravin Mani.

Bindhu Madhavi's Action Avatar

Bindhu Madhavi of 'Kazhugu' fame plays one of the leads in Marina fame Pandiraj's next film 'Kedi Billa Rowdy Ranga' starring Vimal and Siva Karthikeyan in the lead. Bindhu Madhavi will be pairing opposite Vimal while the team is still hunting for a pair for Siva. Bindhu plays a rough and tough girl. She is required to perform some action stunts in the film and the actor is getting ready for her action avatar.

Mugamoodi 'Sequel' plans

Mugamoodi is one of the most awaited superhero flick starring Jiiva, Narain, Pooja Hegde and Nasser in lead roles. The film is the dream project of Mysskin and the director is planning to make a sequel of Mugamoodi. The director is said to have worked on few scripts for the sequel already. The film is expected to hit the screens on August 31. Film is produced by UTV and music by K.

Yuvan in Germany

The final leg of shooting of Aadhi Bhagavan starring Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra directed by Ameer is happening in Jaipur. Yuvan who is scoring the music is currently in Germany for the song mixing. Yuvan is said to have come out with a different genre of music for the film and is confident that this album will definitely make a mark. The audio of the film is expected to be released soon.

'Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey' starring newcomers Aari and Subha is set to release on July 27. The film is about the events that happen in a coffee shop between 6.30 and 8.30. The film deals with human emotions and has five stories which are not connected except that that they all take place inside a coffee shop. Film is directed by Narayanan Nagendra Rao and produced by Mayuri Sekar. Music by Achu and the songs are already quite popular.
