Kumki 2 is based on yesteryear Bollywood Film?

Trinity, a subsidiary of Eros International, has made a deal with director Prabhu Solomon for a bilingual (Tamil & Hindi) project. Sources add that Prabhu Solomon's new film will be titled as Kumki 2, but the film's story is reportedly based on 1971 Bollywood film "Haathi Mere Saathi". The other cast and crew details are yet to be announced.
