Mugamoodi team off to Europe

Mysskin’s ‘Mugamoodi’ starring Jiiva, Narain, Pooja Hegde and Nasser is one of the most awaited ‘Superhero’ flick which will be out on August 31. The audio of the film was released last week by Vijay. The ‘Vaya moodi’ song has become an instant hit among the audience while other songs are slowly catching up. K has scored the music.

Mugamoodi team is set to shoot two songs ‘Vaya moodi’ and ‘Mayavi’ in Europe. The songs will be shot in exotic locations of Europe. Jiiva and Pooja Hegde will join the team on July 26 for 10 days shoot. The team is expected to come back after completing the schedule on August 8. The post production work of the film is already in progress. 

Rana Daggubati in Ajith's film?

Rana Daggubati is the latest to have been roped in Ajith Vishnuvaradhan’s 'untitled' flick. The film also stars Arya, Nayanthara, Taapsee in lead roles. Rana is said to have been keen in making his foray into Kollywood. According to sources, director Vishnuvaradhan had offered him a significant role and narrated the story to him. The actor had readily agreed to do the role. The film shooting is currently happening in Mumbai. Yuvan scores the music.

Rana Daggubati is currently shooting for ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ which is also made in Tamil as ‘Onkaram’. Directed by Krish of ‘Vaanam’ fame, Nayanthara plays the lead opposite Rana. 

Anushka's performance stuns all

Arya and Anuskha are currently in Georgia shooting for one of the most expected films Irandam Ulagam directed by Selvaragavan. The duo are said to play double roles in the adventure fantasy flick. The team had gone on a long schedule of 65 days and the shooting is expected to be wrapped by the end of the next month. 

Anushkha had to perform a dance with difficult moves and the actor had taken efforts to learn it quickly within a day. The outcome has stunned the entire team. Director Selvaragavan who is happy with Anushka's performance has tweeted, "Kudos to Anushka who learnt a kind of very difficult dance in a day and performed too. Felt proud when the local crew stood up and saluted."

'Settai' begins from September

Settai starring Arya, Hansika, Anjali, Santhanam and Premgi Amaren is the remake of Hindi blockbuster 'Delhi Belly'. The shooting of the film which started in May has completed one schedule. The film shooting has been temporarily halted as Arya had left to Georgia for Irandam Ulagam shooting.

Arya has now confirmed the dates for the next schedule of Settai which is set to begin from September. Film is directed by Kannan and produced by UTV. Film will expected to release in January 2013. 

Trailer of 'Son of Sardar'

The first theatrical trailer of the much awaited movie ‘Son of Sardar’ is out. The film stars Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Juhi Chawla in lead roles. Directed by Ashwni Dhir, Son of Sardar is a remake of Telugu hit, 'Maryada Ramanna' which was directed by ace director S.S. Rajamouli of ‘Naan Ee’ fame.

The film is an adventure comedy and the trailer sets the tone of the film. The scenes are an interesting blend of action, comedy and romance set in the colourful state of Punjab. The film is scheduled to release in November this year.
