Surya to romance Samantha?
Surya will be teaming up with director Lingusamy for a new project. The film will be a racy action entertainer and the director is busy fine tuning his script. This is the first time the duo are coming together. The director is said to have made the script keeping Surya in mind. Buzz is Samantha has been finalized as the female lead.
Samantha who had to opt out of Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' and Shankar's 'I' due to low immune system is getting back to shoot from next week. The pretty lass is happy with the overwhelming response for 'Eega/Naan E' and is looking forward to join the sets soon. Hope Samantha doesn't miss this opportunity as well.
Yuvan Shankar Raja will score the music and Nirav Shah handles the camera. Lingusamy's production house 'Thirupathi Brothers' will be producing this venture. An official announcement is expected soon.

Arulnidhi's next 'Thagararu'
Arulnidhi after the success of sleeper hit 'Mounaguru' has teamed up with Dayanidhi Azagiri of Cloud Nine Movies for a film titled 'Thagararu'. The film which was earlier titled 'Sambhavam' has now been changed to 'Thagararu'. Poorna plays the lead. Film is directed by Ganesh Vinayak. The film is a village based story which is set in the backdrop of Madurai.
Thagararu deals with the lives of four friends played by Arulnidhi, Pawan, Dharun Shatriya and Murugadoss. Poorna has an important role with ample scope for performance. Arulnidhi is working hard to perfect the Madurai dialect.
Prabhu Deva shoots with Virat Kohli
Prabhu Deva has turned out to be one of the most sought after directors in Bollywood post the success of Rowdy Rathore. The choregrapher turned director has been signed by a popular shoe brand to shoot an ad film. This is the first time Prabhu Deva will be shooting for an ad film. The highlight is the ad will feature cricketer Virat Kohli. The ad was shot in Bangkok. Prabhu Deva is excited with his first ad shoot as he feels its more challenging to convey a message in less than a minute.

Jayam Ravi plays CBI Officer
Aadhi Bhagavan is one of the most awaited film of Jayam Ravi as the film has been in making for a long time. Jayam Ravi is currently shooting for the final schedule of the film in Bikaner where an important fight sequence is being canned.
While there were eariler reports saying the actor played a dual role, the latest we hear is Jayam Ravi plays a CBI officer who will appear in different get-ups. Neetu Chandra plays the female lead and the film is directed by Ameer. The film has all the elements to keep the audience hooked on to their seats says the director. Aadhi Bhagavan might hit the screens in September.
