Santhanam dons a new avatar

Santhanam dons a new avatar

Santhanam the comedy sensation is creating big waves in Kollywood. The comedian is in big demand and has been one of the selling point in most films. The comedy actor has donned a new role as a producer. He will be joining hands with Powerstar in a film titled 'Kanna Ladoo Thinna Asaiya'. The film will be joinlty produced by Rama Narayanan. There are three leads in the film and third will be played by a new face. Visaka of 'Pidichirukku' fame plays the female lead. 

Film is directed by Manikandan and will be a comedy entertainer. The shooting began in Kumabakonam on July 9. The story is about three friends who fall for a girl and who finally gets to win her love. Thaman scores the music.

Maatraan update from Press Meet

The Maatraan team had met the press to unveil the teaser of the film. Surya plays conjoined twins in K.V. Anand's Maatraan. The First Look and Teaser of the film was released yesterday. The director had said that film is almost complete except for a song. The film will however have a delay in the release has the post production involving extensive CGI and VFX work will take sometime. The makers as of now haven't targeted any date for the film's release.

Vikram gets ready for Shivathandavam

Vikram's most awaited action entertainer 'Thandavam' will be released in Telugu as 'Shivathandavam'. The film is set to have a formal launch in Hyderabad tomorrow. Vikram, Jagapathi Babu, Amy Jackson, Lakshmi Rai, Director A.L. Vijay and G.V. Prakash will be part of the launch. The film having been wrapped the makers are set to begin the promotional activities of the film soon.

Sony confirms NEP audio rights

While the industry was abuzz with Sony Music having bagged the audio rights of the most expected film 'Neethane En Ponvasantham' for a whopping price, Sony Music has now officially confirmed that they have the Tamil and Telugu audio rights of NEP. The audio of NEP is most awaited as everybody is eager to see the magic of Gautham Menon and Ilayaraja combo who are teaming up for the first time.

Siva Karthikeyan gets a new coach

Siva Karthikeyan plays the lead in Dhanush's first production venture 'Edhir Neechal'. The film which is based on sports will be interlaced with fun and humour. Siva plays an athlete and Priya Anand of 180 fame plays his love interest. Dhansika of 'Aravaan' fame has been lately roped in to play the coach who will be training Siva. The film is directed by Vetrimaran's assistant Senthil. Anirudh scores the music.

Attakathi New Trailer

Studio Green will be releasing Attakathi on August 15. The film is director by Venkat Prabhu's former assistant Ranjith. The film has newcomers except for the lead Dinesh of 'Thenmerku Paruvakatru' fame. The film is taken on realism with the story set in North Chennai.
