Prabhu Deva has turned to be one of the most sought after directors in Bollywood post the success of Rowdy Rathore. The success of his recent flick which crossed the 100 crores mark has placed the director on a great demand. Prabhu Deva has been paid a huge sum to direct a movie for TIPS which will be the launch pad of producer Kumar Taurani’s son Girish. The film will be a romantic love story.

Prabhu Deva is planning to rope in Shruthi Haasan to play the lead for his next venture. Prabhu Deva who preferred to launch a new face for the film seemed to have zeroed in on Shruthi Haasan as he felt she fits the bill perfectly. This will be Shruti's third Hindi film after Luck and Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji. The film will be a mass entertainer like his other films.

Thandavam starring Vikram, Jagpathi Babu, Anushka, Amy Jackson, Lakshmi Rai has been wrapped. Directed by A.L. Vijay the film has been shot in 3 months. Major portions of the film were shot in London for almost 60 days. The film is a high action entertainer packaged with style. The Thandavam team had celebrated the completion with a wrap-up party similar to Bollywood films. All the lead actors and the entire team of Thandavam were present at the party except for the leading ladies Anuskha and Amy Jackson.

The team members recalled interesting and funny moments during the shooting. The day had been a memorable one for all of them. Thandavam is set to hit the screens in September and the audio will be released in the first week of August. G.V.
