Maattrraan Audio Release in July and Progress Update

Finally, there was an announcement about a key milestone from Maattrraan's team. Harris Jayaraj confirmed that Maattrraan audio will be released in July. He has completed the composition of all the songs and tweeted that he is now busy working on the final mixing. It is interesting to note that the Music release of KV Anand and Harris' previous movies Ayan and KO were released in January and both the movies released in April.

Maattrraan's UPOD Strategy

Surprisingly, the unit has been unusually quiet about Maattrraan's progress so far. Suriya, KV Anand and other cast/crew members have been tight-lipped so far. Even when the war of words erupted between AR Murugadoss and a Suriya fan, there was absolutely no word from Maattrraan's camp. 

Couple of days ago, when Editor Antony tweeted that Maattrraan has come out well and didn't want to say anything more to avoid creating double expectations. KV Anand immediately tweeted back asking Antony to keep it down ("Amukki Vaasi").

These days it is common for cast, crew and producers to be superlative in terms of praising their own movies. Since the distribution rights have all been totally sold-out already, Maattrraan appears to be deviating from other movies by adopting an UPOD strategy -- Under Promise Over Deliver.
