Naan Ee Censored

Naan Ee Censored

Naan Ee, the tamil version of the most awaited film Eega has completed the censor fomalities in Chennai yesterday.

The film has been given U/A certificate due to smoking scenes and had no cuts similar to Eega. The malayalam version Eecha will go for censor today. 

 

Eega in 3D

The film which has an out-of-the-box story of a Housefly taking revenge has garnered a lot of attention. The director of the Eega is planning to release the film in 3D based on its response at the BO. Since the conversion from 2D to 3D takes around 4 months the 3D version may hit the screens at the end of the year. The director is planning to release the Hindi dubbed version of Eega in 3D. The 3D version of Tamil and Telugu will also release with limited prints.

Thandavam and Mugamoodi Audio release

UTV is producing both Thandavam and Mugamoodi. Thandavam is directed by A.L. Vijay and has music by G.V. Prakash. The film is set to hit the screens in September. The makers are planning to launch the audio of Thandavam in August.

Mugamoodi directed by Mysskin had a grand trailer launch today. The audio of the film will be released by the end of July. Music by K.

Jiiva's 'Endrendrum Punnagai' starts rolling

Jiiva is one happy man these days. Today is a special day for Jiiva as the First Look and Trailer of Mugamoodi was launched as well as his next film went on floors. Jiiva pairs up with Trisha in Endrendrum Punnagai to be directed by Ahamed. The film will be a romantic music entertainer. Jiiva will romance two heroines Trisha and Lisa Hayden. Vinay of Unnale Unnale fame has been roped in for a significant role. The film began with a formal pooja. 

Jiiva will be joining the sets of Endrendrum Punnagai only from August. The KO actor is currently busy shooting for both Mugamoodi and Neethane En Ponvasantham simultaneously. Jiiva will be completing the talkie portions of both the films soon. 

Boologam to Aadhi Bhagavan

Jayam Ravi has completed the first schedule of Boologam directed by Kalyana Krishnan where he pairs opposite Trisha. Jayam Ravi plays a boxer. The actor will now join the Aadhi Bhagavan team again for a final schedule of shoot in Rajasthan. The film could not be completed as the leading lady Neetu Chandra was not available for canning an important fight sequence. Neetu had left the country to shoot for her Greek film. The post production of the film has however started and the makers are hopeful to release the film this year.

Lara Dutta is all ready to grace the big screen following her post pregnancy break. Lara has been signed for a significant role in Bejoy Nambiar's 'David' in which Vikram plays the lead role. The film is a trilingual to be made in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The gorgeous beauty has got back to her shape and is ready to face the camera again. Interestingly Lara will be part of all three versions and will be seen in a Kollywood flick after almost 13 years. Jiiva, Tabu, Isha Sharvani are also part of the cast.
