First Look and Trailer of Mugamoodi are to be launched tomorrow at a grand event by UTV which is producing the film. The superhero look of Jiiva which had been kept under tight wraps is expected to be officially revealed tomorrow. The Mugamoodi team had been working hard for the launch. The most happening hero of Kollywood Surya is set to unveil the First Look as well release the trailer. Gautham Menon, Lingusamy would also be part of the event. Directed by Mysskin, the cast includes Jiiva, Pooja Hege, Nasser and Narain.

Avatar the visual splendor which turned out to be a phenomenal success worldwide is ready to strike back again though not immediately. Director James Cameron who basked in the glory of its success does not want not move out of the limelight of Avatar. The director has planned to shoot three sequels of Avatar back to back.

The director had recently expressed his wish to make only Avatar films for the rest of his career. The director had said “I’m in the ‘Avatar’ business. Period. That’s it. I’m making Avatar 2Avatar 3, maybe Avatar 4’ and I’m not going to produce other people’s movies for them.” 

The news has been confirmed by Avatar star Sigourney Weaver who has been signed for all three sequels. The actor who has been part of Cameron’s films since long would be joining the project at the end of the year. However there is no information available on the release dates of these sequels. 

Aishwariya ready to take off

Aishwariya Dhanush who made her debut as director in '3' starring Dhanush and Shruthi Haasan has been working on the script of her next project. Buzz is Aishwariya is next set to begin a film which revolves around kids and that she has chosen few kids who were apt for the role. She has denied the news of screening kids for her next project.

Aishwariya has however agreed that she has come up with two different scripts, of which one is woven around kids and prefers to rope in a happening hero for the other. Both the scripts are however in the final stages and she is yet to decide on which story to take up first.

Charan back to films

The director of ‘Kunguma Poovum Konjum Puravum' who made his debut in the film which was produced by S P Charan is said to have been keen in casting his producer in his next film ‘Vanavarayanum Vallavarayanum’. The director has approached the actor cum singer for a prominent role in the film.

Charan has not acted in films in recent times after Va Quarter Cuttting though he produced the National award winning film 'Aaranya Kaandam' last year. Krishna of Kazugu fame plays the lead while Monal Gajjar plays the female lead. The film marks the comeback of yesteryear actor Sowcar Janaki and is the debut film of VJ Ma Ka Pa Anand. The film shooting is said to have been and is progressing well.

Thuppakki is one of the most expected film of Vijay and shooting of the film is under progress. The film's title seems to create trouble for the makers. The producer of another film 'Kalla Thuppakki' has filed a legal petition following which the court has ordered the producers not to use the title till July 16.

The producer of Kalla Thuppakki, Ravi Devan is said to have registered the title way back in 2009 and felt that with both the films bearing similar titles may lead to confusion among the audience. Speculations were rife that the title of the film might change while the director of the film A.R. Murugadoss has said that there will not be any change in the title.
